Location: Owings Mills, MD 21117

Pay: $48,000-$52,000 (salary upon conversion)

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Work Setting: Hybrid - 3 days onsite; (during training, onsite daily)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Legal Administrative Assistant to support a tenured legal team within a respected law practice. This role provides full case lifecycle support and offers the opportunity to step into a long-term position. This is a Litigation paralegal role supporting criminal defense, family law, personal injury, and workers' compensation practice areas.


Responsibilities

  • Provide full administrative case support throughout the lifecycle for an assigned attorney
  • Serve as primary communication point for clients, courts, medical providers, insurers, and external parties
  • Draft correspondence and manage client communications and follow-up
  • Handle Maryland-related case filing and ensure accuracy of all case documentation
  • Maintain organized case files, deadlines, calendars, and workflow management
  • Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, and third-party vendors
  • Assist with preparation of legal documents, discovery materials, and case summaries
  • Support general office operations as needed

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • If no degree: 8+ years of paralegal experience required
  • Minimum 3-5 years of legal administrative or paralegal support experience
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented, positive attitude
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with Case Master Pro (CMP) is required
  • Strong initiative and eagerness to learn and take on more responsibility
